Onyx Ashanti is a musician inventor that is doing something really cool with breath and so I had to post his recent TedX talk.

After watching his video, I cannot define for you the term “sonic fractal matrix.” But if I had to do my best, I would say that Onyx Ashanti is generating a control signal using a sensor that converts his breath patterns into digital messages that trigger various sound files which are then manipulated in a three dimensional matrix via hand controllers. If you can, watch the whole video, but his performance starts at minute 10:00. His art is truly ongoing (see his youtube posts on his developing rig) with 100 percent dedication.
